The Santoor Scholarship Program, an initiative by Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares, is now accepting applications for the 2024 academic year.
This program is designed to empower young girls from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing them with the financial support they need to pursue higher education after completing grade 12.
This year, the Santoor Scholarship will support 1,500 eligible girl students across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Chhattisgarh.
The scholarship covers tuition fees and other incidental expenses, ensuring that recipients can focus on their studies without the burden of financial constraints, said a press release from Wipro.
The Eligibility Criteria To Apply For Santoor Scholarships
Girls must have passed Class 10 from a local government school.
Must have passed Class 12 from a government school/junior college in the academic year 2023-24.
Must be enrolled in a full-time graduate program beginning in 2024-25.
Selected students will receive Rs 24,000 per annum until they complete their course of study. The scholarship can be used to cover tuition fees or other educational expenses.
The last date to apply is September 25th, 2024.
