Prabhas’ magnum opus Kalki 2898AD is gearing up for summer release this May, and the movie team is revealing the looks of important characters in the movie in the run-up to the release.
As part of the release strategy, the Kalki 2898AD team revealed the look of legend Amitabh Bachchan’s role. Sr Bachchan plays Ashwatthama in this mega-budget intense action flick.
In the introduction video of Ashwatthama, a small girl named Raia asks an intensely looking Amitabh about his identity. The Senior Bachchan reveals himself as Drona’s son Ashwatthama while the video is shot in a dark ambience accompanied by tense music. Thus, intense Kalki 2898AD’s Ashwatthama video is going viral on social media platforms and trending at number one on YouTube.
The one-minute character video of Amitabh’s role released by the Kalki 2898AD team features him as Ashwatthama. Big B appears in a younger role as a ferocious fighter in the video.
It has already garnered more than 6 million views within 21 hours of release on YouTube on Vyjayanthi Network, Kalki 2898AD’s production house’s official YouTube channel.
While Baahubali star Prabhas plays the lead role in Nag Ashwin’s directorial Kalki 2898AD, several big names are also associated with this pan-India project. Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, legendary actor Kamal Hassan, Disha Patani, and others are also part of Kalki 2898AD.
