Flights between Hyderabad and temple town Ayodhya will start on April 2.
Lord Ram’s Janmbhoomi Ayodhya has turned into a top tourist destination after the opening of Ram Mandir. Devotees from across the country are making plans to visit Ayodhya. Similarly, there has been huge demand for Ayodhya travel from Hyderabad and surrounding areas.
To cater to devotees’ travel needs, the Civil Aviation Ministry has taken steps to launch Flight operations between the temple Town of Ayodhya and the Telangana capital, Hyderabad. The Hyderabad-Ayodhya Flight will ease travel for Telangana, AP, and northeast Karnataka people wishing to visit Ayodhya.
“I had written to Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in February requesting to start direct flight operations between Hyderabad and Ayodhya to make it convenient for pilgrims wishing to travel to Ayodhya. After speaking to commercial airlines, Jyotiraditya Scindia ensured the launching of direct flights connecting Hyderabad and Ayodhya. I thank him on behalf of all the Telangana people for this initiative,” said Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy, commenting on the Hyderabad to Ayodhya flight.
The first flight between Hyderabad and Ayodhya will fly on Tuesday, April 2. Direct flights will operate weekly for three days on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
