Senior leader Dr Dasoju Sravan is expected to be contesting for the Secunderabad MP seat from Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS).
Former CM and BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao are said to be inclined towards Dr. Daosju Sravan to field in the Secunderabad race.
Secunderabad Loksabha segment is represented by Union Tourism Minister and BJP state president G Kishan Reddy. He is once again contesting from the BJP. Senior leader Danam Nagendar is in the fray from the ruling Congress. BRS has yet to announce its candidate, and Dr Dasoju Sravan’s name is making rounds prominently.
Dr. Daosju Sravan is considered an intellectual leader and played a key role in the Telangana agitation. He was considered a close confidante of KCR. Though he shifted to Congress, he again came back to BRS and is moving close with former CM KCR. Though earlier, the KCR Govt nominated Dr Sravan for the Governor’s quota MLC, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan rejected it.
Now once again CM KCR is betting on Dr Dasoju Sravan for Secunderabad MP seat. It is believed that the wide connections of Dr. Dasoju Sravan will help BRS at a time when several leaders are deserting the party after it lost power.
